Biker Jacket
Finally! License done. Bike done. Helmet done. Biker Jacket done. All done. Should I ever need a tailer to adjust a too large leather jacket again, I will visit Catherine & Sam Tailors. They are in Room 801, 8th Floor, Kin Tak Fung Commercial Building, 467-473 Hennessy Road, Causeway Bay, Hong Kong. Tel: 23452003. Amazing Job!

Buying a motorcycle in Hong Kong
It's time to spice up life in Hong Kong. After 4 1/2 years being carried around by public transports, a motorbike is exactly the thing I need. Now, it's not that easy to get on HK roads. My driving license translation did not include my level 1 bike license and I have to start all over making the motorbike license in Hong Kong. Although the motorcycle course in Hong Kong is a f*ckin joke, and explains the huge amount of freaks on the roads, the costs are not too high at least. After passing the exam I will get some kind of 'limited' license, which allows me to get the maddest racing bike, but restricts me in terms of speed limits and being not allowed to carry a passenger.
When you look for a motorbike there's only a couple websites in place. To get you started check: http://www.ibike.com.hk/ or http://www.car8.com/ which are the best. http://hongkong.geoexpat.com/classifieds/showcat.php/cat/59 and http://hongkong.asiaxpat.com/classifieds/motorcycles/ might have some private selling offers, but with very limited choice.
My choices are now between an Aprilia Dorsoduro 750 or the Trimph Street Triple 675. The next days will show which one it will be.

Sambal Matah
If you visit Bali, check out the local fish market in Seminyak for the best grilled seafood you can imagine. They come with special Balinese Sambal Sauces. One of which I tried at home today: "Sambal Matah".
15 shallots, peeled, cut in half and finely sliced
4 cloves garlic, cut in half & sliced
10 small sliced chilies
1 tsp roasted shrimp paste
4 lemon grass, bruised and very finely sliced
1 tsp salt
¼ tsp ground black pepper
2 tbsp freshly squeezed limejuice
coconut oil
white vinegar
stir and serve together with anything grilled... fantastic !

Calamian Islands - Coron - Palawan
This is how a (chinese) new year should always start. Diving Japanese Oil Tankers in 35m depths. Chilling out on the private beach of a place so called "Paradise Island". Sipping Daiquiris on a lazy monday afternoon at the Seadive Sun Terrace. Or discover the best beaches around Coron with a small rented boat. This was my second time on palawan and another amazing experience.
